Elizabeth “Betty” (Gaydosh) Bochar, died Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Communities At Indian Haven, Indiana.
Born March 24, 1926 in Commodore, daughter of Andrew and Mary (Popik) Gaydosh. She is the widow of John Bochar who died April 21, 2000.
Betty was a member of Christ Our Savior Orthodox Church, Indiana. She was the first of her 10 siblings to graduate Commodore High School. Her house was always open for family when she lived in Ohio, where she loved tending to her flower gardens. Betty had a passion to travel with her husband and sister. It was very often, you saw the two sisters always together!
She is survived by brothers John Gaydosh wife Lena, Edward Gaydosh, Sister-in-Laws, Sally and Helen Gaydosh along with 22 nieces and nephews.
Betty was predeceased in death by Brothers and Sisters, Mary Macek, Joseph Gaydosh, Veronica Van Wert, Rosella Fedorinko, Anna Likavec, Margaret Hostacky, Andy Gaydosh, Mike Gaydosh and sister in law, Patty Gaydosh.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 5 to 8pm with a Parastas Service beginning at 7:00 pm at the McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, 565 Franklin St., Clymer. Her funeral service will be celebrated Wednesday, December 4, at 10 am at Christ Our Savior Orthodox Church, in Indiana, PA with the Very Reverend Archpriest, George Mitchell. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s cemetery.
