Harry Brown Obituary

Harry Truman Brown, 69 of Clymer, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Indiana Square Personal Care Home, Indiana.

He was the son of John O. and Hattie (Jones) Brown White, born June 12, 1949 in Grundy, VA. 

Harry was a coal miner at Helen mines, Local 1619 for 22 years.  He enjoyed being in the outdoors, coon and deer hunting and camping with his family.  There was never a stranger to Harry he always made a friend and had a heart of gold and known for his famous jokes.  Harry enjoyed hot rods, playing his harmonica and singing.  He was well known for his famous apple pies, homemade candy, greatest laugh and his enormous smile would brighten up a room.  His grandchilden was his whole life, riding his buggy with them.  He would pile them all up in it and take off.  Harry enjoyed the time spent with his grandchilden and proud to be their Papaw. 

He is survived by his wife of 52 years his Linnykapooch, Linda (Aichele) Brown of Clymer, three children, Cindy Huey (Dennis) of Clymer, Harry Brown (Vickey) of Northern Cambria, Sally Brown of Clymer, one brother, Frank Brown, (Thelma) of Ohio and family, five grandchildren, Kishia, Dylon, Joshua, Jordan, and Sarah, five great-grandchildren, Emma, Cole, Jace, Cayden, and Tanner.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Orpha, two grandsons, Austin Wyatt Truman Brown in 2004 and Jeremiah Dennis Huey in 2016.

He was loved by all that knew him and will be greatly missed.

Friends will be received on Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, 565 Franklin St., Clymer.  Additional visitation on Monday from 10 to 11 am followed by his funeral service at 11 am with the Rev. Prewitt Duncan.  Interment will be made at Rowley Cemetery.
