Kenneth M. Funt

Kenneth Funt, 68 of Clymer, PA., passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Ken was born August 20, 1950 in Gettysburg, PA to Glenn Funt Sr. and Elizabeth (Harris) Funt.  He graduated from Hershey High School and Hershey Vo-Tech School in 1968.  Ken Joined the United States Navy where he proudly served from 1969 – 1972 when he was honorably discharged.

His working career was spent in the printing industry and then in sales.

On May 4, 1974 he married Gail Walborn and they were devoted to each other for 45 years.  They were blessed with two daughters, Jennifer and Kathryn.

Ken was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Funt Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Gail of Clymer, his two daughters, Jenny and husband Tim McCroskey of Homer City, Katie Funt of Paris, France, brother, Glenn Funt Jr. and wife Debbie of Hershey, sister, Sandy Stefanic and husband Jay of Mechanicsburg, mother, Elizabeth Moriarty, and Stepmother, Kay Fite along with one grandson, Dylan McCroskey plus many nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.

Friends will be received on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 2 to 4 pm with military honors at 2 pm, provided by Clymer American Legion Post 222 at the McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, 565 Franklin St. Clymer.  His memorial service will begin at 4 pm followed by refreshments and reminiscing at the Clymer American Legion.

Additional visitation and service will be held on August 3, 2019 from 2 to 4 pm at the North Annville Bible Church, 4590 Hill Church Rd, Annville, PA 17003.
