Nancy Jane Ackerson

Nancy Jane Ackerson, 81 of Clymer, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Beacon Ridge Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation. Nancy was born November 6, 1937, in Erie to the late Leo J. and Alma J. (Greesley) Kern. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack R. Smith and also her second husband, Roy D. Ackerson. Nancy is survived by her children, Debbie Smith and husband Andrew of Saratoga Springs, NY, James Smith and wife Sis of Clymer and Melissa Marshall and Melvin of Ligonier. One brother, Jim Kern, four grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. In addition to her first and second husbands, she was also preceded by one brother, Leonard Kern. A graveside service will be held at 3 PM on Monday, July 15, 2019 at Manor Cemetery in Indiana, with Pastor Bob White officiating.
