William “Bill” Albert Myers, 62 of Clymer, PA., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was the son of John and Betty Marie Myers, born on May 14, 1956 in Indiana, PA.
Bill graduated from Penns Manor High School in 1974. He was a lifelong member of the Clymer United Methodist Church. He was employed for 44 years as a truck driver and currently worked for Davis Transport in Blairsville, PA.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Wanda and beloved daughter, LaDawn. He is also survived by his four brothers, “The Myers Boys”, John (Patty) of Indiana, PA, Jim (Carrie) of Indiana, PA, Scott (Traci) of Middletown, PA, and Mark (Amy) of York, PA. Sister-in-law Patsy and her husband Joe of Shelocta, PA. One uncle, Ronald Harper of Clymer, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bill was known by many as faithful to the Lord, dedicated to his family and friends, a humble, courageous, and hardworking man. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His passion for trains, trucks and collecting coins was evident for all who knew him.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Per his wishes, a memorial service will be held at the Clymer United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 6 at 11am. The McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, Clymer is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, it was Bill’s wish to have all donations sent to the Clymer United Methodist Church, 495 Hancock Street, Clymer, PA 15728 or AseraCare Hospice 100 CTC Drive, #110, Johnstown, PA 15904.
