Arvilla J. (Edwards) Shank

Arvilla Jane (Edwards) Shank, 90 of Clymer, PA., passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

She was the daughter of Lawrence and Emma (Butterworth) Edwards, born May 19, 1934 in Clymer, PA.

Arvilla was a member of the Bible Baptist Church since 1955.  She volunteered for several organizations, she was den mother for the cub scouts, Sunday and Bible school teacher and volunteered at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.  Arvilla worked in retail sales all her life last being at Montgomery Wards in Indiana, PA.  She lived a great Christian life and impacted anyone and everyone that would just sit and listen to her.  Arvilla was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that will be deeply missed.

She is survived by six children, Terry W. and wife Glenna of Indiana, PA, Dennis R. and wife Shirl of Clymer, Karin D. Serdynski and husband John of Parma Hts., OH, Kevin D. and wife Dorothy of VA, Cynthia K. Johns of Indiana, Sally B. Sanders and husband Tim, 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Arvilla was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Theodore L. Shank, two sons, Theodore and Kenneth Shank and one sister, Sally Winters.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 6pm to 8pm at the McCabe~ Roof Funeral Home, 565 Franklin St., Clymer, PA additional visitation on Thursday, from 12pm to 2pm followed by her funeral service at 2pm with Pastor Mike Bucher, officiant.  Interment will be made in the East Mahoning Cemetery.
