Curtis Michael Galla, 67 of Heilwood passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
He was the son of Michael J. Galla and Julia (Holuta) Galla, born May 12, 1958 in Heilwood, PA.
Curtis retired from PennDot, was a member of St. Michael's Orthodox Church in Clymer and Pine Twp. Fire Company in Heilwood. He loved Bluegrass music, going to Bluegrass festivals with his Mom & his beloved dogs, Coco & Sandy, and jamming with his musical friends.
Curtis is survived by Betty Davis, of Rising Sun, MD, his aunt, last surviving sister of Julia and also many loving cousins and friends. The family would also like to thank Keith and Amy Muir & Jeanne Ludwig for all of their help throughout the many years.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents (Julia and Michael Galla), six uncles, Charles, John, George, Pete, Joseph, Michael Holuta, and four aunts, Ann Gagliardi, Mary Protz, Helen Trynovich, Dorothy Holuta.
Friends will be received on Friday, April 17, 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Michael’s Orthodox Church, 495 Morris St. Clymer with his funeral service being celebrated at 11:00 am with the Very Rev. Protopresbyter Frank Miloro as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s cemetery, Clymer. The McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, Clymer is assisting the family.
