Donna Sleppy

Donna Jean (Risinger) Sleppy, 63 of Penn Run, PA., passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at her home.

She was born December 15, 1960 to William Carl Risinger and Geraldine B. (London) Risinger in Indiana PA.

She was proceeded in death by her husband of 40 years Daniel Howard Sleppy, her parents, and brothers William Daniel Risinger and Richard (Rick) Carl Risinger.

She is survived by her in-laws Howard and Pearl Sleppy, her children, Rebecca Mellott (Michael), Katlyn Sleppy, Nathan Sleppy (Courtney), Jennifer Leverknight (Dustin), Grandchildren Tyler and Marcy Mellott, siblings James Risinger (Nancy), Susan Douglas (James), Sally Prugh (Robert) and her nieces and nephews.

Donna was a graduate of Indiana High School class of 78’. She worked for IRMC for over 25 years in various positions. Donna loved spending time outdoors and exploring nature with her children and grandchildren. Some of her favorite activities included hiking, biking, playing volleyball, crafting and sewing. She was known by everyone for her amazing baking and cooking skills. Donna was consistently working on a new project including building her own kitchen cabinets, a new bed, and a new door.

She was an outstanding wife, mother, and grandmother. She will forever be loved and missed by her family.

Friends will be received on Sunday, March 17, 2024 from 1pm to 6pm at the McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, 565 Franklin St., Clymer.  Donna’s funeral service will be on Monday at 11 am with Pastor Byron Fultz as celebrant.
