Elizabeth Jane Shaffer-Sell

Elizabeth Jane (Fulton) Shaffer-Sell, 86 of Clymer, PA., passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Scenery Hill Manor, Indiana, PA.

She was the daughter of Irvin Levi and Rose Mae (Patterson) Fulton, born October 13, 1937, in Buffington Twp., Indiana, PA.

Jane was a waitress and a cashier at Sheetz most of her working career.  Recently she started to enjoy painting. Jane loved to play bingo and crochet. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother.

She is survived by six children, Virginia (David) Engle, Clymer, Mary Clark, Blairsville, Linda Clark, Michigan, James A. Shaffer (Pamela), Indiana, Sharon Varney, Indiana, Cindy (Melvin) Webb, Texas, one sister, six brothers, 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, one great great-grandson.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Robert V. Sell and Arthur James Shaffer, two grandchildren, three sisters and three brothers.

Friends will be received on Thursday, January 4, 2024, from 12 noon to 2 pm at the McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, 565 Franklin St., Clymer, with her funeral service to follow at the funeral home at 2 pm. Interment will be private for the family in Greenwood Cemetery.
