Francis Paul Johns

Francis Paul Johns, 79 of Clymer, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 25, 2025, on his farm.

He was the son of Alonzo and Hazel (Shaffer) Johns, born April 17, 1946, in Indiana, PA.

Paul was a member of the Pine Flats Christian Church where he served as treasurer. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war. Paul was a member of the Indiana VFW post 1998.  Paul retired from Creps United Publications as a delivery driver. His love was farming and driving his tractors. Paul was generous with his time for his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his sister, Linda Kent, and husband Bill, one niece, Stephanie Kent, and husband Saul Franco, two nephews, William Kent and wife Daria and Jeffrey Kent and fiancée, Neha Deshpande and two great nieces, Chloe and Riley Kent.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 4pm to 8pm at the McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, 565 Franklin St. Clymer, PA. Additional visitation will be on Wednesday from 10am to 11am at the Pine Flats Christian Church, 1541 Rt 580 Hwy, Clymer, PA.  Paul’s funeral service will follow at 11am with Pastor Robert White, officiating. Interment will be made in McDowell Cemetery.
