Grace L. (Hogan) Gromley, 85 of Indiana, PA., passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at St. Andrews Village, Indiana, PA surrounded by her children.
She was the daughter of Iva and Joseph Hogan born on June 8, 1934 in Indiana PA.
Grace was a dedicated, devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had a vivacious zest for life and touched the lives of so many that knew her. Her courage during all of her illnesses was beyond belief to many. Grace enjoyed playing bingo and making friends but above all she loved spending time with her family.
Before moving to St. Andrews Village, she was an active member of the Two Lick Valley Senior Center, Clymer, PA.
She is survived by her loving children Cindy (John) Misko, Indiana; Mark (Tammy) Gromley, Blairsville, and Laurie (Jason) Burba, Indiana. Grandchildren Raymond J. Sgro, Jr., Clymer; Tiffany (Nick) Windsor, Penn Run; Christine Misko, Commodore and Brittany Gromley, Ohio, and great granddaughter Kendall Windsor and one sister, Sally Ashbaugh of Indiana.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raymond F. Gromley. Her brothers David and Joseph Hogan, sister Marian Libengood and nephew David L Hogan.
Grace’s family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Josesph Lamantia, the staff at St. Andrews Village, VNA Hospice and the countless friends and family for all of the love, support and care that they extended to our “Amazing Grace”.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, 565 Franklin St. Clymer, PA. Grace’s funeral service will be on Wednesday at 10 am at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Wallace, officiating. Interment will follow in Cookport Methodist Cemetery, Green Twp.
