James I. Filler, 85 of Indiana, PA., passed away at his home on Sunday, December 1. 2024.
He was the son of James and Veronica (Ondo) Filler, born in Indiana, PA., on May 14, 1939.
James was a grounds keeper at Blues Spruce Park, he was a workaholic. James was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by several children, Deb Filler of Shippensburg, James E. Filler (Ashley) of Pittsburgh, Alma Stoker (David) of Indiana, Raymond Filler and fiancé Bonnie of Blacklick, Nichole Filler of Erie, Jason Filler and girl friend, Kaela of Patton, Nathan Filler, four sisters, Nettie Zack of Blairsville, Nancy Filler of Florida, Cindy Lamb (James) of DIlltown, Beverly Lamb (Steve) of Connellsville, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
James was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ellen (Layton) Filler, one grandson, Chris McKeever, two brothers, Leroy and Earl and one brother-in-law, Samual Zack Sr.
All services will be private for the family the McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, 565 Franklin St. Clymer is assisting the Filler family.
