John R. Bash

John Robert Bash was called home on the third of March, 2024. He was born December 4th 1947. After graduating from Indiana Sr High School, John was employed at the Keystone Powerplant for over 20 years. He enjoyed being the “official score keeper” for the Shelocta softball team.  He could also always be seen at the local car shows. John loved spending time with his wife Judy and their sons, Robert (Sharon) Bash, Christopher (Kim Seger) Bash, and Michael (Kim) Bash. John loved vacationing to visit his sister Jan King in Florida. His favorite time was spending with his grandchildren, Keri (Joseph) Colangelo, Josie Bash (Matthew Keller) and Ryan Bash. John was promoted to a great-grandpa to Jeremiah, Joshua and Jamison Rushton, Dominic and Lana Barnicle, Cyrus Knupp-Bash and Jace and Kinslei Colangelo all of which loved to spend time on Pap’s knee.  John will be missed deeply by the group of guys he went to breakfast with at the Log Cabin, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bash Grandchildren's College Fund, 157 Kacie Lane, Indiana, PA  15701.

All services will be private for the Bash family.  The McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, 565 Franklin St. Clymer is assisting the Bash family.
