Kenneth R. Detwiler, 70 of Heilwood, PA., passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Communities of Indian Haven, Indiana, PA.
He was the son of Clyde and Alberta (Morgan) Detwiler, born on October 9, 1955, in Indiana, PA.
Ken loved to play cards, softball, and hunting, He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Jet’s fan. Ken loved spending time with his family but most of all his grandchildren. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his six children, Rebecca Brenner and husband Jack, Stacey Long and husband Blaine, Jessica Thomas and husband Jason, Charles Detwiler and wife Alexis, Nichole Salazar and Melissa Detwiler, five brothers and sisters, Linda Hieber and husband Bill, Ben Detwiler, Sylvia Laney, Wayde Detwiler and wife Diana, and Wayne Detwiler and wife Pat, 18 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Cheryl D. (Shields) Detwiler, one son, Christopher Detwiler, two brothers, Jesse and Frank Detwiler, two sisters, Elizabeth Henry, and Donna Patterson, two great-grandchildren, James Detwiler, and Remington Wise.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 1 pm to 5 pm at the McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, 565 Franklin St., Clymer, PA., with his funeral services to follow at 5 pm with Pastor Robert White, officiating. Interment will be private for the family.
