Kenneth Fishel Obituary

Kenneth D. Fishel, 61, of Purchase Line, Pennsylvania, passed away on January 27, 2026.

Born on April 28, 1964, in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of Melvin Fishel and Donna (Miller) Moore.

Ken graduated from Marion Center High School with the Class of 1982 and went on to proudly serve in the United States Navy, achieving the rank of Petty Officer Second Class.

After completing his military service, Ken built a long and dedicated career, working for Murata Erie, Specialty Tires of America for thirty‑two years, and most recently JWF Industries. In the spring of 1990, he met the love of his life, Pam, and the two were married the following year. Together they made their home in Purchase Line, where they raised their family and built a beautiful life.

Ken was an outdoor enthusiast who found joy in camping, hunting, and fishing. He also loved to golf. No matter the circumstance, he had a gift for seeing the positive side of things, and his steady optimism left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to share in his life.

Ken is preceded in death by his father, Melvin Fishel, and his wife Shirley of Warren, Michigan.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela (Miller) Fishel; and his three daughters: Keni (Robert) Mareham of DeRidder, Louisiana; Mandy (Mike) Krug of State College, Pennsylvania; and Kim (Matt) Hooper of Westminster, South Carolina. He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Josiah, Meira, and Amelia Hooper; Michael and Maverick Krug; and Noah and Marcella Mareham.
