Mark Dwight Thompson, 62 of Marion Center, PA., passed away on June 21, 2025, at Indiana Regional Medical Center, with
family by his side.
He was the son of John and Dortha (Shaffer) Thompson, born November 6, 1962, in Spangler, PA.
Mark graduated from Northern Cambria High School. He was employed by Shop n’ Save and Giant Eagle. An avid hunter and outdoorsman. A past member of the NRA, Ruffed Grouse Society, and Ducks Unlimited. Mark’s hobbies were reloading, clay pigeon shooting and dirt biking. He was a hard worker at his parent’s home alongside his father.
He is survived by his mother, Dortha , his wife, Kathleen (Smead) Thompson, two daughters, Julie Ann and Kara Noel, two brothers, Douglas and wife Nola, Frederick and wife Debbie, three nieces, Tonya Ackley, April Huyler and Holly Thompson, five great nephews and three great nieces.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, daughter, Sarah Lynn, two nieces, Tara Nicole and Toni Michelle Thompson.
A memorial service will be held at a later Date.
The McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, 565 Franklin St. Clymer is assisting the Thompson family.
