Nettie L. (Filler) Zack

Nettie L. (Filler) Zack, 79 of Blairsville, PA, passed away at her home on May 27, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the daughter of James E. and Veronia (Ondo) Filler, born December 25, 1947, in West Lebanon, PA.

Nettie graduated from Laura Lamer High School  in Homer City in 1966. Upon graduation she got married to Samuel L. Zack Sr. on July 30, 1966.

She is survived by two sons, Samuel Lee Zack Jr and wife Renee, Blairsville, and Keith Patrick Zack and wife Debra, Texas, five grandchildren, Alicia Zack, Bryon Smerker, April Zack Startari (Justin), Gabriel Zack, Jeremiah B. Zack, three sisters, Nancy, Cindy, and Beverly.

Nettie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 57 years, Samuel L. Zack Sr. and three brothers, Jim, Leroy, and Earl Filler.

All services will be private for the family. Interment will be made in the Brush Valley Cemetery, Brush Valley, PA. The McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, Clymer is assisting the Zack family.
