Ricky G. Montgomery Sr.

Ricky G. Montgomery Sr., 61 of Heilwood, PA., passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

He was the son of Daniel and Millie Mae (Patterson) Montgomery, born on October 27, 1958 in Indiana, PA.

Rick was a strong, loving, and caring man. He loved unconditionally and would give you the shirt off his back if you were cold. He had a heart of gold and hands of steel. He had many jobs and skills he learned throughout his life. Construction was his ultimate skill. He loved to build things. He could take an imperfect piece of wood and turn it into a perfect piece of furniture or functional lawn art. He loved spending time with his loved ones. He could always make your day better even if he was having a bad day. He treated everyone he met as if they were his own.

He is survived by his father, Daniel Montgomery, his wife, Patricia D. (Wetzel) Montgomery, four children, Ricky G. Montgomery Jr, and wife Shawna, Brandon Montgomery and wife Crystal, Marissa Peles and husband Joseph, Shawn Montgomery, four brothers and sisters, Robin McCall, Harry “Bud” Montgomery, Sherrie Cooper, Carl J. Stewart, nine grandchildren, William, Jermey, Mason Montgomery, Mary and Luke Peles, Adam Rapach, Alex, Sara, Kaitlyn Smith.

Ricky was preceded in death by his mother.

All visitation and services will be private for family only.  The McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, 565 Franklins St. Clymer is assisting the family.
