Robert L. Wells Robert L. "Bob," Wells, 78, of Creekside, moved on to a better place, in the very early hours of the morning, on April 22, 2019, after a long illness, at his home, with his wife of 25 years at his side.
Bob was born on January 14, 1941, at home, in Big Run, Pa; he was the son of Ida (Johnson) Wells and Fred B. Wells. He was one of 10 children. Brother of William, Donald, James, Raymond, Charles, Rita, Mildred, Dorothy, and Betty.
Bob is survived by his wife, Kathryn M. Wells, his stepchildren, Dawn M. Perfetti, of New Castle, Allan E. Pugh, Jr., of Indiana, and Erin K. Pugh of Creekside. Grandchildren Rachel M. Green of New Kensington, Kelly N. Clawson of Clymer, and Great-grandchildren Mallieha and Mallakai. Many nephews and nieces, including, Johnny, Freddy, Cathy, and Brenda, to whom he was especially close.
Bob was self-employed for more than 25 years as a home repair contractor, he owned and operated, Bob Wells Painting and Home Repair until his retirement, due to back surgery, in 2000.
Bob enjoyed countless road trips and rides on his motorcycles, playing horseshoes, pool, throwing darts, and sharing a cold beer and a good time with his family and countless friends.
Services, per the family, and Bob's, wishes, will be private. The family is being assisted by the McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, Clymer.
