Trudi E. (Thompson) Peterson

Trudi Elaine Peterson, 75, of Indiana, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully May 21, 2026 surrounded by the love of family and friends.

Trudi was born on June 17, 1950, in Punxsutawney Pa, to Harold and Verna Thompson. She spent her young adult life in Springfield, Oregon where she started her own family before moving back to Indiana, Pennsylvania. She spent around 50 years as a hairdresser and was beloved by so many clients who turned friends. Trudi enjoyed reading, cooking, baking, enjoying times with friends at the Moose, where she was a member, and spending time with her family.

She is survived in death by her son, Ryan Peterson, and wife Sarah Peterson. Her grandchildren, Madison Stephenson (David), Morgan Zometsky(Garrett), Austin Chambers, and Autumn Peterson , her siblings, Shawn Thompson and Kay Penrose and her Son-in-law Jeremy Chambers. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings- Heidi, Doug, Debra, and her daughter Amie Peterson.

As of now a memorial service will be held at a later date with close friends and family.

She will be remembered for her free spirit, personality, and unwavering love for her friends and family. The Family of Trudi Elaine Peterson is being cared for by the McCabe-Roof Funeral Home in Clymer, Pa.
