William “Bill” G. Rounsley, 83 of Northern Cambria, PA., passed away at his home on May 3, 2021.
He was the son of Harold L. and Martha Z. (Gray) Rounsley, born on April 14, 1938 in Spangler, PA.
Bill loved the beach, spending time on his boat and eating blue crabs. He enjoyed the warm weather. Bill would do anything he put his mind to. He was a carpenter and was self-employed and former owner of the town of Marsteller, PA., and also the gravedigger for McDowell Cemetery for over 40 years. Bill loved spending time with friends and telling funny but “true” stories.
He is survived by his wife, Loleta (Fetterman) Rounsley, two daughters, Brenda (Ed) Krevel and Linda (Tim) Laney, son-in-law, Eugene Hadden, brother, Tom Rounsley and sister, Lois Talerowski, seven grandchildren, Jessie Laney, Amber (Laney) Ruggles, Seth Laney, Kylie Laney, Kyle Krevel, Isabelle “Belle” and William “Will” Hadden and six great-grandchildren.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Billie Lynn Hadden, brothers, Kenneth “Jack”, David, Gerald “Jerry” and sister, Linda.
Friends will be received on Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 9 am to 11 am at the McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, 565 Franklin St. Clymer, PA., with his funeral service to follow at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will be made in McDowell Cemetery. Masks and social distancing is required.
